Srinagar, Feb 19: Army today said that over 600 people attended a medical camp organized jointly by army and civil administration at Model Hanfia School in Ashmuji area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A defence spokesman said a team of civil and army doctors worked together selflessly and rendered advice, care and treatment in the day long camp during which the civil lady doctor also educated on general health issues covering personal hygiene, small family norms, maternal and child care.
“Variety of medicines was also distributed to the patients free of cost and refreshments were also catered for the population who had come from far-flung areas,” the spokesman added.
