6 injured in road mishaps

KATHUA, Mar 12: Six bike riders were injured, five of them seriously in two road accidents at Ramkote and Nagrota Gujran in Kathua district this evening.
According to reports two bike riders were injured at Ramkote after their two -wheeler hit a divider at Zero mile in Ramkote this evening. Both of them were referred to GMC Jammu in a serious condition.
The duo was identified as Ashok Kumar and Yougesh Kumar of Ramkote.
In another accident two motor bikes collided head on at Nagrota Gujran this evening resulting into injury to two bike riders and two pillion riders.
Out of them three were serious and they were referred to GMC Jammu while the fourth with normal injury was taken to Sub District Hospital Billawar. He has been identified as Balbir Singh of Ramkote.
Those referred to GMC Jammu included Khushi Ram, Parveen Singh and Deep Kumar all residents of Ramkote. The Ramkote Police Post has registered cases in both the accidents under relevant sections of the law.
