6 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Apr1: Four members of a family among six persons were injured in different road accidents on the National Highway, here today.
An Alto car bearing registration number JK01-9226, on its way from Kashmir to Jammu, rolled down in gorge near Moud. Locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Nazir Ahmed (50), son of Mohamed Yaqub of Pampore, Pulwama Kashmir, his two sons 24 year old Mohamed Fazal and 16 year old Barkat Ali and Hanif Begum (35), wife of Abdul Aziz of Pampore Pulwama Kashmir.
In another road accident, a pedestrian was hit by a Tata Mobile near Chack Morh Udhampur. Locals shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu. The injured was identified as Raj Kumar (23), son of Kishoo Ram of Chack Rakhwala
A Scooty bearing registration number JK14E-1022 was hit by a minibus near Chopra Shop, resulting into injuries to the rider, identified as Palvi Dogra (23), daughter of Ashok Kumar Dogra of Chopra Shop.
