Chilli, jeera up as demand picks up

NEW DELHI, May 13:  Red chilli and jeera prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today largely on the back of a pick-up in demand from stockists and overseas enquiries amid restricted arrivals from growing regions.
Red chilli prices rose by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 4,400-12,600 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also increased by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 19,500-19,700 and Rs 21,300-21,800 per quintal.
