Srinagar, Nov 26: Police today said five persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A police spokesman said a truck bearing registration number JK02BM-2597 hit and critically injured a pedestrian namely Asma Ashraf at Lethpora in Awantipora area of Pulwama district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
The spokesman said an unknown tipper collided with an Alto car JK13A-2272 at Chatkak Crossing in Handwara area of Kupwara district, resulting in injuries to 3 persons. All the injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said a vehicle 407 JK01D-6020 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Khateja at Qamarwari area here. “The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
