MENDHAR, Jan 15: Five persons were injured in a group clash over an old land dispute at Saruti (Ari) in district Poonch today.
Reports said that the members of families of Master Mushtaq Ahmed and one Nazir Ahmed of the same village had heated arguments over the land dispute in the afternoon. Both sides exchanged lathis and lethal weapons and also indulged in stoning. During clash Master Mushtaq and four others were injured. They all were removed to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar.
They were identified as Asif Iqbal, Zehra Tabasum, Rakhmat Bi and Mohd Yasir. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
