REASI, Aug 5: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 5 animals besides arresting the accused at Mahore.
On specific information, a police team, headed by I/C SPP Ladh, laid a naka at Changer Nallah Tuksan, tehsil Mahore and rescued 5 bovine animals from the possession of Rehmat Ali of village Shikari, Mahore. The accused person was carrying these bovine animals without any legal documents. He intended to smuggle these bovine animals towards Kashmir.
Police arrested the accused person and register a case FIR No.58/2017 U/S 188 RPC against him at Police Station Mahore.
