RAJOURI, Jan 31: Lok Adalat was held at District Court Complex under the chairmanship of Inder Singh, Principal, District and Sessions Judge, here today.
On the occasion, two benches were constituted. One bench was headed by Inder Singh, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority and assisted by Rajinder Saproo, Additional District and Sessions Judge, while the second bench was headed by Mehmood CHoudhary, CJM Rajouri and assisted by Sarfraz Nawaz, District Judicial Mobile Magistrate.
In the Lok Adalat, 17 MACT cases were settled and an amount of Rs 21 lakh was awarded as compensation. 30 petty criminal cases were also settled and an amount of Rs 13700 was realized on spot.
