NEW DELHI, Jan 7: There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today as prices moved in a narrow range by and large in scattered deals and settled around the previous levels.
Traders said ample stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept prices unaltered.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 6,100-7,100, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,400-6,500, Urad best Rs 6,500-7,000, Dhoya Rs 6,900-7,200, Moong Rs 5,300-5,500, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,800-6,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,400-6,900 and best quality Rs 6,900-7,100.
Masoor small Rs 4,900-5,000, bold Rs 4,950-5,100, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,300-5,800, best quality Rs 5,400-5,900, Malka local Rs 6,100-6,300, best Rs 6,200-6,400, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 4,850, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,700-8,500.
