JAMMU, Mar 14: PDD authorities installed 400 kv transformer at Khatri Mohalla Durganagar.
On the occasion besides officers of the Department Durga Nagar Welfare Committee members including its president R L Raina, Behari Lal, Mohan Lal Pandita, Bhushan Lal, A K Bazaz, C L Zutshi, Nana Ji Razdan and others were also present.
R L Raina later in a handout said that 250 kv transformer is to be installed in Kailashpati Lane within few days. The Committee said that authorities of PDD took immediate steps to install the transformer after the problems faced by people were brought in their notice.
Raina said that the deputation of the Committee also met the Executive Engineer JDA and demanded maintenance of the park in the area by plantation of new grass.
