4 thieves arrested, stolen property recovered

JAMMU, Nov 9: Domana Police today apprehended four thieves and recovered stolen property (two LEDs) worth Rs 74000 from them.
“On November 07, Joginder Sharma son of Chaman Lal, resident of Paloura, who is owner of Ajanta Electronic, lodged a written complaint that two employees of his shop namely Rajan Bhagat son of Makhan Lal and Rohit Kumar son of Ved Parkash, both residents of Paloura, have stolen two LEDs from his shop”, a police official said.
He said on the complaint of the shop owner, a case FIR No 338/2017 under sections 381/109 RPC was registered at police station Domana and investigation started. “During the course of investigation, both the employees were questioned and they admitted the crime”, he added.
The official said that the accused also revealed involvement of other two persons who were identified as Shubam Singh son of Pritam Singh of Jaswan (Marh) and Rahul Singh son of Balbir Singh of Mishriwalla. “On the disclosure of accused, two LEDs worth Rs 74000 were recovered from their possession”, he added.
The arrest and recovery was made by Inspector Rattan Singh Rana, SHO Police Station Domana, under the supervision of SDPO Domana, Varinder Singh and SP Rural, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
