4 killed, 27 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, Apr 15: Four persons died and 27 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a man was killed and 19 others were injured when a minibus, 943/JK03, they were travelling in turned upside down near Seer in Anantnag district.
He has been identified as Nissar Ahmed Magary of Mulsoo, Seer, Mattan.
A 4-year-old old boy, Mumin Ahmed Bhat son of Rouf Ahmed Bhat of Hayat Pora, Bidder, fell from a tractor at Adiga in Anantnag district. The boy died on spot.
Two Beacon labourers, Farooq Ahmed Mir and Mohammad Arif Kumar of Nambla, died while four others were injured when a Beacon Platform vehicle turned upside down at Sadipora, Nambla and fell in a deep gorge.
All the injured have been shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment.
An Alto car, JK05A/5507, hit and injured a pedestrian at Nowpora Chowk in Bandipora district.
A Tractor turned upside down near Kandoora in Budgam, resulting in injuries to three persons including the driver of the tractor.
The spokesman said all the injured have been shifted to hospitals for treatment and police has registered cases in these accidents.
