4 injured in road accidents

Srinagar, Jan 10: Police today said four persons were injured in different road accidents in Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tata-407 passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK01C/8983 driven by Nazir Ahmad Dar turned turtle near Jamia Masjid Jawalapora in Budgam district, resulting in injuries to Farooq Ahmad Kanjal and Firdous Ahmad Bhat. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The police spokesman said a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK01R/9684 hit a pedestrian namely Ghulam Hassan Ganie on National Highway at Kaigam in Awantipora area of Pulwama district. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The police spokesman said a Sumo bearing registration number JK03B/9233 hit a pedestrian namely Jana Begum at KP Road near Jammo village of Ashmuqam in Anantnag district. “The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the police spokesman added.
