4 disabled boys selected for World Summer Game in US

Kolhapur, Sept 17:
The Central Government’s cell — Special Olympic Bharat has selected four disabled boys from the country for the World Summer Game, to be held at California in the United States of America in June next year.    The announcemnt was made at a press conference this afternoon by Ganesh Ingale, Star Health Studio coach and Chief of the ‘Tare Zameen Par’ institution that works for the physical and mental development of disabled boys.
The four boys include two from the state — Avdhut Ghorpade (Kolhapur) and Abhimanu Desai (Mumbai), one each from Punjab — Raju Rajindra (Patiyala-Punjab) and Chennai — P Surya (Chennai), while Ingale has been selected as their coach.    ‘We have brought about development in these boys and have prepared a special diet and exercise plan for them. This needs to reach all disabled boys of the country and world. Our institution has weekend classes for special game and exercise for these boys which helps in making them strong, self-reliant and firm. We also unertake demonstrations to increase their mental and physical capacity,’ he said.(UNI)
