JAMMU, Nov 7: RS Pura police arrested four persons along with Rs 5050 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on credible information, a team from RS Pura police station conducted raid near Gandhi Park and apprehended four persons along with Rs 5050 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons have been identified as Som Nath, son of Kasturi Lal of Ward Number 7, RS Pura, Vinod Kumar, son of Bahadur Chand of Langerail, Roshan Lal, son of Om Parkash of Kanachack and Roshan Lal, son of Ashok Kumar of Purana Pind.
A case under Section 13 Gambling Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SI Ved Parkash made the arrest under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
