39 students of ‘Operation Dreams’ classes clear SI exam

JAMMU, Aug 8: Thirty nine students of ‘Operation Dreams’ classes, an initiative of providing free coaching to students launched by Sandeep Chaudhary, an IPS officer posted in Jammu and Kashmir cleared Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub Inspector (SI) exam.
In this initiative, more than 150 students attended the classes conducted in a community hall in Jammu.
A total of 2060 students have cleared the exam for selection as SI’s in the Executive and Armed wings of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The IPS officer had started these classes keeping in mind the lack of exposure and high fees being charged by coaching centres. He utilized this initiative as a bridge building exercise between police and youth.
The classes which were conducted by the young Sandeep Choudhary every morning from 8 am to 10 am in the community hall emerged as an event full of positive energy among the youth.
The students who participated in these classes belonged to different parts of Jammu and Leh province. An initiative on similar lines was launched by the IPS officers for students based in Kashmir on Whatsapp.
The IPS officer who is posted as SSP Shopian now wants to launch an initiative on similar lines in Kashmir also.
It is pertinent to mention here that 7 girls have also cleared the exam from his classes.
Sandeep Chaudhary who himself is a university dropout assured the students that he will try to help the students for interview preparation through Whatsapp and Youtube.
