353 yatris pay obeisance at Amarnath, 284685 have darshan so far

SRINAGAR: Over 350 yatris on Saturday paid obeisance at the holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas, where so far 284685 pilgrims had darshan since June 28 when the annual 60-day-long pilgrimage commenced from shortest Baltal and traditional Pahalgam tracks.

The yatra will conclude tomorrow when the Chhari Mubarak, holy Silver Mace will be taken inside the cave for final puja. A Public Relations Officer (PRO) said this evening that on the 59th day of the ongoing Yatra, 353 Yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave. Till date 2,84,685 Yatris had the darshan of the Shivling at the Holy Cave. Majority of the pilgrims had since returned to their homes. (AGENCIES)
