UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: An impressive attestation-cum- passing out parade of 342 jail warders of Rajasthan Prison Department was organized at STC, BSF Udhampur.
On this occasion, Harminder Pal, Inspector General, STC BSF Udhampur was the chief guest who took salute of the parade during the passing out parade and DIG Prison Department Jaipur, Krishan Shay and senior officers from BSF, Police and Civil Administration were also present on the occasion.
Two batches of 342 Jail warders of Rajasthan Prison Department were administered the oath of service and loyalty to the Nation.
These Jail warders were given intensive training for duration of 6 months in various aspects of physical training, weapon handling, Drill, endurance and other various subjects related to Prison Department to make them efficient Jail warders.
Madan Lal, Commandant (Training), STC BSF Udhampur, welcomed the chief guest, Harminder Pal, IG STC BSF Udhampur and congratulated the Jail warders on their successful completion of six months training. He expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the outstanding training imparted to these Jail warders and assured the parents present during passing out that they will make them proud with their patriotic action during their service to the nation. He also expressed his deep concern to the jawans of CRPF who lost their lives in line of duties.
During six months training who were awarded included, batch No 168, Khyali Ram Jail Warder over all first, Magga Ram, over all second, Subash Chand Tomar Ist in drill, Rajesh Gurjar, best in endurance. Batch No 169, Krishan Dev, Jail Warder over all Ist, Krishan Lal, over all second, Mukesh Kadwa Ist in drill, Tota Ram Kewat, best in endurance.
After the grand parade a colorful presentation on the theme Yoga dance, German drill and students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jaganoo Udhampur presents Satrangi Laharion dance and patriotic song by BSF brass band.
