JAMMU, Mar 2: Police arrested three women along with illicit liquor.
As per police spokesman, on specific information, a police team led by SDPO RS Pura Surinder Kumar Choudhary under the supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal conducted raids in Salehar and Tara Chak areas and nabbed three women.
Police team recovered 300 litres lahan, 60 litres of illicit liquor and other materials used for distillation of the liquor. These ladies were indulged in extracting and selling of illicit liquor.
A case under Excise Act has been registered against them at police station Arnia and further investigation into the case is going on.
