3 schools, Agri Deptt office found locked

POONCH, Apr 6: In order to ensure punctuality and work culture in Government offices, Deputy Commissioner, Mohammed Aijaz Asad has constituted flying squads/teams consisting of senior officers of district administration and sub divisional administration.
Pursuant to the directions of DC,the teams headed by ADDC in Haveli, SDM Surankote, Tehsildar Balakote, Tehsildar Mankote  conducted surprise visits in early working hours at various Government offices including educational institutions in their respective jurisdictions.
During inspection,  three schools were found locked around mid day  namely Government Primary School Lower Batidaar, Government Primary School Prat, Government Primary School Narol and Agriculture Office Mankote was also found locked.
During further inspection five employees of sheep farm Banloi, besides a number of employees from tehsil Mandi and other Government institutions were found unauthorisedly absent from their duties.
Taking strong cognizance of dereliction of duties, show cause notice has been severed upon 100 employees and their controlling officers as well.
Directions were also given to concerned treasuries to withhold   salaries of the erring officials.
