3 injured in two road accidents

SAMBA, Aug 12: Three people were injured in two separate road accidents in Samba district today.
According to reports one pedestrian namely Himmat Kumar, 24 ,S/o Anil Kumar was hit by an unknown vehicle at National Highway near Aum Hospital Bari Brahamna today. He was seriously injured in the accident. He was rushed to Aum Hospital, Bari Brahmana for treatment where from doctors referred him to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for specialized treatment.
In another case two ladies were injured after a scooter bearing registration number JK02K-2019 hit one pedestrian at Main Chowk Samba. The scooter turned turtle resulting in the injury of the pillion rider also who too was a lady.
The pedestrian was identified as Kamlesh Devi, 35,W/O Jagdesh Singh of Khoon Majalta and the pillion rider was identified as Asha Rani , 65 of Nanka Chak Samba. They were taken to District Hospital Samba for treatment. The Samba Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
