UDHAMPUR, Dec 13: The District administration today sealed three illegal stone crushers and snapped their electricity connections besides registering case under relevant sections of the Act governing the law in this regard.
On the direction of DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar, a team headed by DMO Udhampur Er S A Choudhary, Tehsildar Udhampur, Xen PDD Udhampur and police officials raided the premises of M/S National Stone Crusher, M/s Bhagwati Stone Crusher and M/s International Stone Crusher at Birman Nallah Udhampur, which were running illegally.
The raiding team sealed the said stone crushers and also snapped electricity connections of these units.
After registration of case under the relevant sections of the Act governing the Law, the proprietor/manager of these stone crushers were directed on the spot to produce the relevant document and not to operate their units till further orders.
