RAJOURI, Jan 8: Nine domestic animals including three horses and six milch animals were charred to death as a cattle-shed caught fire at village Hasplot in Thannamandi this evening. Two calves were also charred.
Reports said that incident took place at around 7.45 pm. The family had stored some dry grass/ fodder in the corner of the large cattle shed. The fire started from the dry grass and engulfed the whole shed. Two cows, four buffaloes and three horses were charred to death besides two calves. The cattle belonged to Meenu Samyal and Bagga Samyal, sons of Sardar Iqbal.
