3 bodies recovered

SRINAGAR, Nov 24: Police today said three bodies were recovered from three separate places across Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said a male body identified as Gurmeet Singh of Deedarpora Handwara in Kupwara district working as follower in J&K Police posted in District Police Lines Srinagar was recovered at Alochibagh here.
“After completion of medico-legal formalities police handed over the body of deceased to his relatives for last rites. Police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death,” he said.
The spokesman said another unidentified male body of about 35 years age was recovered from Kralpora in Kupwara district. “The body is lying in police station Kralpora and police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the identity and cause of his death,” he said.
The police spokesman said another male body was recovered by police in Gulmarg area of Baramulla district.
“The deceased was later identified as 71 years old Bajid Khan Pathan, a tourist from Andhra Pradesh. The body is lying in PHC Gulmarg and police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death,” the spokesman added.
