JAMMU, Apr 13: Arnia police arrested three persons involved in attempt to murder case, here today.
As per police sources, Mandeep alias Bugga, son of Paramjeet, Raban Singh alias Laddo, son of Tilak Raj and Mukesh, son of Surinder Saini, all residents of Kool Kalan attacked Amit Choudhary, son of Ravi Pal of Pindi and Moti Sharma alias Tony of Kathar owing to some old enmity with country made pistol late last night.
In the incident, Amit received bullet injury in thigh, while Moti Sharma was attacked with butt of country made pistol in head.
The accused managed to escape from the spot taking benefit of the darkness, while both the victims were rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where the condition of Amit was stated to be out of danger, when reports last came in, while Moti has been discharged after treatment.
A case under FIR Number 34/17 under Section 307, 147 and 149 RPC and 3/25 Arms Act was registered at Arnia Police Station and hunt was launched to arrest the accused.
On specific information, a team from Arnia Police Station conducted raid and arrested the accused. Two more accused are still at large along with weapon of offence.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Satish Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
