JAMMU, Apr 20: J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association in collaboration with Jhiri Dangal Committee under the Presidentship of Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ram Paul Sharma will be organizing 2nd Jhiri Kesari Indian Style Dangal on April 23, 2017at Devsthan, Jhiri, here.
This was informed by Shiv Kumar while addressing media persons, here today.
He said 62 wrestlers from Delhi, Harayana, Uttarkhand, Punjab, Chandigarh and J&K State are taking part in the one-day historic wrestling event being held in the State of Jammu & Kashmir on the eve of Baiskhi Festival celebration 2017.
He further said that the organizers have taken all necessary initiatives for successful staging of the event and have ensured that men and women wrestlers feel at home in J&K.
The winner of first prize will receive Rs 1,50,000, while 2nd prize winner will get Rs 1,00,000, the winner of 3rd prize will be presented Rs 75,000 as a cash prize, while the winners of 4th and 5th prizes, will receive cash prizes of Rs 60,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
Mr Sharma informed that National and International personalities from the wrestling world will be participating/witnessing the mega wrestling event.
