JAMMU, Oct 4: 29-member J&K State Athletics team comprising of 25 men and 4 women athletes left for Rohtak, Haryana to take part in 30th North Zone Junior Athletics Championships scheduled to be held on October 6 and October 7, 2018.
The screening of the team was conducted by Ashok Singh, Manager, MA Stadium at Dogra Ground, Sashtri Nagar, here.
The screening was conducted in presence of Suneel Mahajan, President J&K Athletics Association, Sharat Chander Singh, General Secretary, J&K Athletics Association, Sarwant Singh Gill, Associate Secretary and Vinod Bhatia, Joint Secretary J&K Athletics Association.
Gurcharan Singh is accompanying the men’s team as Manager/Coach, while Mandeep Kour Manager /Coach of women’s team.
The team is being sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
