UDHAMPUR, June 7: Twenty five passengers, including 16 women, were injured when an overloaded bus turned turtle on Chakhar- Gandala road, about 7 kms from Udhampur town, this morning. Click here to watch video
The bus, bearing registration number JK02U-6771, was on way from Tirshi to Udhampur when it met with the accident near Gandala, around 10.30 a.m. Due to bad condition of the road, driver lost control over the bus, which was carrying around 70 passengers thus resulting into the accident and injuries to 25 passengers, reports said.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where condition of all of them was stated to be out of danger.
