24 District & Sessions Judges transferred

JAMMU, June 27: In a major reshuffle in the judiciary, High Court today ordered transfers and postings of 24 District and Sessions Judges.
As per the order issued by M K Hanjura, Registrar General of the State High Court, Vinod Chatterjit Koul, Special Judge Anti-Corruption (CBI cases), Jammu has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kathua vice Sanjay Dhar.
Sanjay Dhar, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kathua has been transferred and posted as Special Judge Anti-Corruption (CBI cases) Jammu. Puneet Gupta, Registrar Vigilance, High Court of J&K, has been transferred and posted as Chairman of J&K Sales Tax Tribunal against an available post.
Kikar Singh Parihar, Principal District and Sessions Judge Reasi has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar vice Soba Ram Gandhi, who has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Reasi.
Sanjay Parihar, Registrar (Judicial) High Court Jammu Wing has been transferred and posted as 2nd Additional District and Sessions Judge Jammu vice M K Sharma, who has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah.
Sanjeev Gupta, Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah has been transferred and posted as Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu vice Ashok Kumar Koul. Sanjeev Kumar Bhagat, Additional District and Sessions Judge (TADA/POTA) Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora vice Mohammad Ashraf Malik, who has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Anantnag vice Jawad Ahmad.
Parvez Hussain Kachroo Registrar (Judicial), High Court Wing Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Pulwama vice Virender Singh Bhau. Nighat Sultan, District Judge, Leave Reserve High Court Wing Jammu has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer, J&K Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal vice Kossar Ahmed Qureshi.
Kossar Ahmed Qureshi, Presiding Officer, J&K Labour Court and Industrial Tribunal has been transferred and posted as Member J&K Special Tribunal (Revenue), Srinagar against an available vacancy.
Mohammad Ibrahim Wani, Additional District and Sessions Judge Handwara has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Kupwara vice Sikander Azam, who has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil.
Tasleem Arif, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Handwara vice Mohammad Ibrahim Wani. Madan Lal, 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Presiding Officer, MACT Srinagar vice Shazia Tabasum, who has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Sopore.
Naseer Ahmad Dar, Additional District and Sessions Judge Sopore has been transferred and posted as 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge Srinagar vice Madan Lal. Rajinder Sapru, Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh has been transferred and posted as Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajouri vice Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, who has been transferred and posted as Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh.
The Presiding Officer of the court of 4th Additional District and Sessions Judge Srinagar has been given the additional charge of the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge (TADA/POTA), Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Ashok Kumar Koul, Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu has been posted as Registrar Vigilance, High Court of J&K in place of Puneet Gupta. Jawad Ahmad, Principal District and Sessions Judge Anantnag has been posted as Registrar (Judicial) of the Srinagar Wing of the High Court. Virender Singh Bhau, Additional District and Sessions Judge Pulwama has been posted as Registrar (Judicial) of the Jammu Wing of the High Court.
