SRINAGAR: Government today suspended 23 teachers here for their abysmal achievements, an official said.
The step was taken by Director School Education Kashmir G N Itoo during a surprise inspection of Government schools here.
“Itoo has suspended the entire teaching staff of Government High School Rangtaing, Middle School Aalikadal and Middle school Rehbaab Sahib for their abysmal achievements in these schools,” an official statement said.
The Director also sought an explanation from the Zonal Education Officer Zaldagar for non-compliance of instructions regarding academic monitoring of schools falling in her zone. (AGENCIES)
