JAMMU, Nov 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association will be holding 22nd J&K State Ladies, Sub Junior, Junior & Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship from November 28, 2015 at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
According to a handout issued here, the Association has advised all the players desirous to take part in the Championship to submit their entries with the Association by or before November 27, 2015.
The Association has asked the players to either contact marker Rakesh or Sohail Khalid for submission of entries. For further information, the players can contact them on mobile numbers 9858180374 or 9419192628.
The entry fees for Ladies, Sub Junior and Junior Boys will be Rs 200 each for Billiards and Snooker events is Rs 200, while entry fees for Senior is Rs 300.
Players up to the age of 18 years can compete in Sub Junior Championship.
The Tournament will be played according to the rules set by Billiards and Snooker Federation of India and the decision of the marker/match referee will be final.
The dress code will strictly followed during the matches, which is trousers with shirt, waist-coat alongwith bow and formal shoes.
It is for the first time in the State of Jammu and Kashmir that the Billiards and Snooker Association is introducing ladies in the Championship, which is a step forward to provide them opportunity to showcase their talent in this sporting discipline and enhance women empower.
