22 bovines rescued, 3 arrested

RAMBAN, Jan 3: Sangal-dhan police rescued 22 bovine animals and arrested three smugglers.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sangaldhan Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK14D-3771.
During checking, police rescued 22 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested three persons, who have been identified as Barkat Ali, son of Yousif Shah of Sherbibi Chamalwas, Bilal Ahmed, son of Khazar Lone of Gund Banihal and Jameed Ahmed Malik, son of Nayeem Malik of Kashmir.
A case under FIR Number 1/18 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gool and investigation started.
