21 bovine animals rescued

REASI, Aug 10: Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling in Mahore and rescued 21 animals besides arresting two accused.
On specific information, a police team, led by Incharge Police Camp Sarh, laid a naka at Bagga Angralla road in Mahore and rescued 21 bovine animals from the possession of Jamal Din and Faiz Hussain, both resident of village Shikari, tehsil Chassana.
The accused persons were carrying these bovine animals without any legal documents. They intended to smuggle these bovine animals towards Kashmir.
Police arrested both the accused and registered a case FIR No.61/2017 U/S 188 RPC in this connection at Police Station Mahore.
