RAJOURI, Feb 25: The sleuths of Excise Department conducted raids at different places in Rajouri today and seized 200 Kg of Lahan and 12 liters of illicit liquor and also arrested two persons in this connection.
Official sources said that the Excise team from Rajouri-Poonch range conducted raids at village Palma, Manoor Gala, Jigni, Swari, Jamola, Bareri and some other parts of Kalakote and seized 200 kg of Lahan which was destroyed on the spot. The team also seized 12 liters of illicit liquor.
During raids two persons were arrested while others managed to give slip to the Excise team. Those arrested were identified as Bachan Singh, son of Bindru and Anila Kumari, wife of Late Chaman Lal from Jigni, area of Rajouri.
