UDHAMPUR, Mar 19: In separate cases, two youth attempted suicide by consuming some poisonous substance, here today.
According to the police reports, Ashok Kumar (19), son of Madan Lal of village Magani Udhampur, consumed some poisons substance under mysterious circumstances in his home last late night. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Cause of provocation could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection.
In another case, Aalam (26), son of Kasha of village Thaplal Ramnagar, consumed some poisons substance and fell unconscious, this morning. Family members rushed him to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu.
