2 vehicles with 13 bovines seized on Mughal Road

POONCH, June 21:  The police seized two vehicles  smuggling 13 bovine animals to Kashmir valley via Mughal Road  near Bafliaz area of Surankote  and also arrested three persons in this connection last night.
A police spokesman said that a police party led by SHO Behramgalla, Nazarat Hussain during special naka under the supervision of SDPO Surankote,  Riaz Tantray  intercepted two vehicles and found total 13 milch animals being smuggled to Kashmir.
The police seized Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK12/2098 along with five bovine animals loaded in it besides other goods loaded at the back of the vehicle to dodge the police party.  The police also arrested driver Zafar Iqbal, son of Abdul Aziz from Bafliaz village.
The police party also intercepted another 407 vehicle and found 8 bovine animals loaded in it. The naka party seized the vehicle along with animals loaded in it and arrested smuggler namely Abdul Ghani from Thannamandi and driver Mohd Qadeer, son of Mohd Kabir from Saillan village in Surankote.  The police registered cases under FIRs 107 and 108/ 2016 against the accused persons.
