RAJOURI, Jan 2: The police today booked two Revenue officials including a Girdawar from Thannamandi area for tampering Revenue record for providing benefit to a favourite.
The action was taken by police after a written complaint was lodged by Mohd Shabir, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Mazoor in Thannamandi today. He alleged that Girdawar Muzaffar Hussain and Patwari of Shahdara Sharief area, Aftab Ahmed prepared forged documents and tempered Revenue record causing loss to him. His land was shown on the name of other persons. Upon this, the police registered an FIR and started investigation.
