2 hurt as Sumo falls into gorge

POONCH, June 21: Two persons were injured when a Tata Sumo skidded off  the road and fell into a gorge on Mandi-Loran road this evening.
A police spokesman said that mishap took place when vehicle bearing registration No. JK-12/ 1782 was on way to Loran from Mandi. Only two persons including driver were on board.  As the vehicle reached at Khadappa village, the driver lost control  on it  and the vehicle slipped into a gorge.
Both the injured persons were rescued by locals of the area and police from Loran also reached there. The injured were rushed to Mandi hospital where doctors referred seriously injured driver  Abdul Ghani Sheikh to GMC Hospital Jammu. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
