SRINAGAR, Mar 31: A massive fire broke out in Nowpora area and a house gutted in another fire incident at Zadibal area here today.
An official from the Fire and Emergency Department said that fire broke out in a residential house near Mamta Hotel at Nowpora area of Srinagar.
However, he said the fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames and the cause of fire is under police investigation.
He said a residential house of Ali Mohammad Dar, a resident of Zadibal gutted into fire. “The cause of fire was gas leakage and with the help of fire tenders, locals and police, the fire was brought under control,” he said.
