UDHAMPUR, July 4: Udhampur Police today arrested two drug peddlers and seized 7 grams of heroin from their possession during naka checking at Darshu (Roun Domail) Udhampur.
Based on reliable information, a police party of PP Round Domail, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Kulbir Handa, laid a naka at Darshu, Udhampur and apprehended the accused namely Raman Sharma, son of Bodh Raj of Manwal Udhampur and Rahul Sharma son of Mohan Lal of Pohuni Majalta.
During the thorough search, seven grams of heroin (Chitta) was recovered from their possession.
Police arrested the accused and seized the heroin besides registering a case FIR number 306/18 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act in this regard.
