SRINAGAR, May 28: Two persons died while four others were critically injured after a load carrier plying from Chowkibal to Kralpora turned turtle and fell into deep gorge at Manzpathar Chowkibal in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district today.
One person died on the spot while the injured persons were treated at District hospital Kupwara where one more succumbed to injuries.
The doctors said that the four injured persons are critical and have been shifted to Srinagar for specialized treatment. Initial reports suggest that, they were travelling back home from Badnambal.
Police identified the deceased persons as Rayees Ahmed Khoja and Pervaiz Ahmed Khoja. The injured have been identified as Altaf Ahmed Khoja, Shabir Ahmed Khoja, Javaid Ahmed Khoja and another injured is yet to be identified.
