2-day long symposium of HESK concludes

JAMMU, Jan 31: The two-day long symposium organized by Hindu Education Society Kashmir (HESK) concluded at Gandhi Memorial College at Raipur today.
The symposium started on the occasion of Martyrs Day yesterday on the topic teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, his philosophy, and different aspects of his life.
On the second day today a signature campaign was also organised by the students of the institute. The students of GMCE, Higher Secondary Wing of the college and various scholars participated in the symposium which was chaired by the president of HESK, Anil Dhar.
He highlighted the role of Mahatma in promoting communal harmony and patriotism. He said that the nation which is facing crisis at present needs a leader like Mahatma to guide its people.
Prof G L Koul Principal of the College and B L Koul coordinator GMC Higher Secondary Wing also spoke on the occasion.
