2-day Jammu District Judo Championship gets underway

JAMMU, Oct 27: Two days Mini Sub Junior Jammu District Judo Championship began at Shemrock School Akhnoor, today.
The championship is being organized by J&K Judo Association under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council & J&K Olympic Association.
About 100 Judokas from different schools are taking part in the Championship.
Shilpa Mahajan, Chairperson of the Shemrock School Akhnoor was the chief guest on the opening ceremony, S. Suraj Bhan Singh and Ritika Slathia were the guests of honour.
The bouts were officiated by Manish Chatwal and Komal Gupta.
In today’s results, the gold medal winners included Agrim Sharma, kartik Khajuria, Akhilash Sharma, Samar Sharma, Bhavansh Pawar, Vihaan, Bhanvi Sharma and Lavanya Kour
The silver medals went to Advik Bhat, Aarav Pandita, Samar Partap Singh, Shrwan Malhotra, Svanik Sharma, Viraj, Prisha Katiyal and Suhani Gupta and the bronze medals were claimed by Bridwik Singh, Vinayak Sawroop, Aashman Singh, Saksham Singh, Ayush Koul, Aditya Partap Singh, Abhay Partap Singh, Krishna, Shourya Veer Sharma, Kashyap Sharma, Arun Dati, Chahat Jamwal, Prabhnoor Kour and Harshita Sharma.
