Srinagar, Apr 14: Two children drowned in Baba Reshi area of Tangmarg today as they were chasing a cricket ball.
Two young boys, identified as Firdous Ahmad Reshi, 8, and Abdul Rouf Shiekh, 10, slipped in Tilkaen stream while chasing a cricket ball in Alpathri village of Baba Reshi.
The bodies of the boys were retrieved by the locals and were rushed to a health centre in Kreeri where doctors declared them as brought dead.
