JAMMU, Jan 28: Several cattle were charred to death after two cattle-sheds were gutted in Thannamandi area of Rajouri and Billawar area of Kathua last night.
Reports from Rajouri said that cattle-shed of one Dil Mohd, resident of Chhrung village in Thannamandi caught fire during last night. His five cattle were charred to death in the incident. The village Numberdar reported the mater to Police, which has taken cognizance of the matter.
Reports from Kathua said that in yet another similar incident at village Dallan Wali in Billawar area, a cattle-shed of one Ramesh Chander got perished. His six sheep, a cow and a buffalo were charred to death. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
