An Independent candidate for Municipal polls in Hawal area of Srinagar escaped unhurt tonight in a petrol bomb attack at his house in Srinagar.
Unknown men hurled a petrol bomb towards the residential house of an Independent candidate for Ward 55 Hawal, Mudabir Ahmad of Adalat Masjid Hawal in Srinagar. However, there were no loss of life or property.
Unknown persons in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district threw stones at the house of Khursheed Ahmad Lone, the candidate of Ward No. 3 in Giraj Ganderbal. The incident resulted in damage to the house. However, there were no reports of any loss and the family members are also said to be safe.
