2 Burmese arrested for stealing oil

JAMMU, July 31: Bahu Fort police arrested two Burmese for stealing oil from Railway Depot.
As per police sources, a complaint was received regarding stealing of oil from tankers at Railway Depot.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant Sections was registered at Bahu Fort Police Station and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police picked up several suspects for questioning and finally arrested two thieves involved in stealing the oil.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Qasim, son of Abdul Matlab and Hamidullah, son of Abu Sayed, both residents of Burma, at present Marathi Mohallah.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Bahu Fort Inspector Parvez Sajjad made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Vipan Chandran, Incharge SP South Vinay Kumar and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
