RAJOURI, Mar 14: Two minor brothers were injured in an accidental grenade blast at village Bai Namblan in Khala Chappar area of Kotranka in Rajouri district this evening.
Reports said the children were playing in the fields when they saw an old grenade and fiddled with it.
The grenade went off causing injuries to the duo.
They have been identified as Tariq Hussain, 6 and Mohammad Shakoor, 5, sons of Gulla, residents of Bai Namblan.
Police parties rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to local hospital from where they were referred to District Hospital, Rajouri. Their condition was stated to be stable.
Police have collected splinters of the grenade for investigations.
