UDHAMPUR, Dec 1: In separate cases of suicide attempts, a youth and a girl consumed some poisonous substance at their houses in village Jasal Kot and Majalta, respectively, here today.
Angraz Singh (23), son of Prem Singh of Jasal Kot, consumed poisonous substance at his house and the family members shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Jammu in view of his serious condition.
Cause behind the provocation could not be ascertained while police has registered the case and started investigation.
Meanwhile in a separate case, Anu Radha (20) of Krora in Majalta also consumed some poisonous substance under mysterious circumstances at her house. Family members shifted her to DH Udhampur.
