JAMMU, May 12: Miran Sahib police arrested two persons for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib police station laid a naka near Kali Puli area and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier.
During checking, police rescued 2 bovine animals and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Bhag Hussain, son of Mohammad Musa Choudhary of Dablehar, RS Pura and Amrik Singh, son of Makhan Singh of district Poonch.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Miran Sahib police station and investigation started.
